Carol Sullivan

Obituary of Carol A. Sullivan

Carol Sullivan, 75, of Sarasota, Florida passed away on July 22, 2023, with her family by her side.

Carol was born in New York on March 4, 1948, and relocated to Sarasota with her family in 1987. She held a long-standing career in the customer service industry while living in the Sarasota area.  While living in New York she built a career on her creativity by teaching countless people how to knit, crochet, and was frequently referred to as the “Finisher” when she would help put the finishing touches on projects.  She also had a love for making jewelry, especially rosary beads.  In her spare time, she loved to bake, cook, and share her cuisine with family and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Kate Liotta, Stephen Liotta, sister Joan Liotta, and her beloved husband of 39 years Charles Sullivan.

She is survived by her brother Stephen Liotta (Rose Marie) of New York, her three children, daughter Tara Entler (Martin) of Sarasota, son Charles Sullivan of Sarasota, and daughter Bridget Wetzel (Andrew) of North Carolina, grandchildren Ian Bell, Zachary Wetzel, Lilly Wetzel, Marti Entler and one great granddaughter April Bell, as well as many loved nieces, nephews, family members and lifelong friends.

Carol was a loving mother who gave her all to her family.  We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her passing.
